Hello everyone!

Thank you for everyone who joined us yesterday, Sunday the 19th, for Rick’s memorial. He was a true true friend. He was always trying to help others even when he needed help himself. He always seemed to cook enough for an army and distributed it to different friends. This is why we chose to have our cookout in a way of celebrating his life as he would with others. I will always remember him even in his days “of gloom and doom.”

Join Georgia, Coco, Vivi, Erika Kendall and myself this Saturday evening for the 10 and midnight show! Now, if Saturday is too late of an evening join us on Sunday at 5 pm to help raise money for Kaleidoscope with your show host Mimi Sharp our Miss Southbend Newcomer 2018 and an all-star cast.

It’s so hard to believe the Summer is almost over, children are back in school, some of the leaves are already turning on the trees, and before you know it I’ll be sewing Al’s little Halloween costume.

I didn’t get to go to the fair this year or a cookout or the jazz fest, but I am looking forward to going to the Pumpkin Show in Circleville. I always go on a Friday for the pet parade, everyone brings their little pets dressed in costumes and to me, there’s nothing funnier than seeing a handsome bulldog in a pink tutu. And of course, while you’re there you have to eat.

Don’t forget you can come and see me every Monday, Thursday, and Friday and on Thursdays, you can get blender drinks with fresh seasonal fruit.

I’ll close now and leave you with this final thought: Try to keep in touch with family and loved ones as much as possible, because you never know when you’re going to see them again.

Take Care of Yourself and Each Other.

With love,

Connie
