Hello to all my Family and Friends!

Hoping everyone is in good health and spirits!

Congratulations to our show director Brent Fabian for being awarded the Our Community Roots Award. You, Brent, are so well deserving of this award and many others. You are always there for anyone who needs assistance, help, or just a friend. Again, congratulations we are all proud of you from your Southbend Tavern family.

Congratulations Dan and Paul for winning the Bake Bean Cook-off!

Our next cook-off will be July 21st at 3 pm for your favorite summer pineapple dessert.

It’s so hard to believe that Gay Pride is right around the corner. So to kick off your gay pride weekend starts on Friday afternoon and join us for Al’s Comedy Hour at 6 pm with Jennifer Lynn your Miss Southbend, Stella, Russell, and many others.

Then stay and join us Ohio Gay Pride Stars of Pride Show at 10 pm and midnight.

Saturday is our Southbend Pride Show with your favorite show host at 10 and midnight.

After the parade, sometime around 2 pm, join us for a cookout with hamburgers and hotdogs and cool off with a drink. Don’t forget we will not open until after the parade this year.

Sunday, June the 24th at 6 pm join us for a benefit for Ava Aurora Foxx.

I’m excited about my next visit at the Kaleidoscope Youth Center Tuesday, June 26th. It will be exciting to see their beautiful faces again and hoping they will be able to open up more than we did in our first meeting. Remember we have several more benefits coming up for KYC and the next one will be on July the 22nd. Join Connie and Stella and an exceptional cast for the benefit from 3 to 5 pm. The next one is August 26th hosted by Mimi Sharp your Miss Southbend Newcomer with Connie, Nicole Trader, Josh Fabian, and a cast of others.

I will close, for now, leaving you with this last thought: Remeber, especially at this time of Our Gay Pride Weekend, be kind and loving and accepting to everyone. We Are All Equal.

Take Care of Yourself and Each Other.

With love,

Connie
